Visit the Angelo Mosso Institute Museum, Science at High Altitude

We guide you on an easy path through the suggestive natural setting of Passo dei Salati to the historic research institute, founded in 1907, still active, and with a recently renovated museum exhibition.

You will only need to cover a few meters of elevation to learn about the challenge of conducting research at an altitude of 2,901 meters.

Difficulty: Easy - Suitable for all the family Duration: Short - 20 minutes on foot, with an elevation gain of about 80 meters

Rates: Including round-trip ticket Alagna-Passo dei Salati and a guided tour of the Angelo Mosso Institute.

Meeting point: 9:00 AM at the ticket office of Alagna Monterosa Ski facilities. Return is scheduled at Passo dei Salati at approximately 12:00 PM.

ATTENTION: The last useful departure to return to Alagna in the morning is at 12:45 PM. The first descent in the afternoon is at 2:15 PM.
