This itinerary is suitable for all those who wish to embark on their first high-altitude experience. The ascent to the summit provides the opportunity to explore the rich and captivating Gran Paradiso National Park, with its diverse alpine fauna, and to enjoy the hospitality offered by Rifugio Chabod.

Difficulty: PD- some mountaineering difficulties on rock or snow, rock or ice slopes up to 34-40°. Technically not difficult glacier hike, but followed by an exposed snowy ridge.
Ascent time: approximately 5 hours
Elevation gain: approximately 890 meters
