Walser valleys at the South of Monte Rosa is a trekking touching three important colonies strongly linked: Alagna, Rima and Macugnaga.
Ancient paths witness centuries of history of emigration and lead to discover the culture of medieval villages of the valleys.
A three-day tour that combines trekking to the knowledge of the local culture and the particularities of each village.
At night, the charm of the location choosen will give you the right relax with gourmet menus and wellness centers of high level.
day 1. in Alagna arrival, accommodation at Hotel Cristallo – visit to the village center and the Walsermuseum in hamlet of Pedemonte – dinner and overnight stay
day 2. After breackfast ascent to Mud col and descent to Rima – arrival and accommodation at Casa Bastucchi – visit to village, to the collection of plaster casts and the laboratory of artificial marble – dinner and overnight stay. 5 hours trekking.
day 3. Tekkig to Vallè mountain hut, nestled under the sky with a wonderful view, dinner and overnight stay. 2 hours trekking.
day 4. Breakfast and departure towards Macugnaga – arrival and accommodation at the Hotel Dream – visit to the village- dinner and overnight stay. 5 hours trekking.
day 5. after breakfast retourn to Alagna by bus
