It was typical alpine pastoral hut (Baita) which was built at 1950 m (above sl) by Walser ancestors in 1888 and restored in 1986, into a restaurant-baita. Today it is a landmark for those who want to enjoy good food or take a break on a fantastic freeride day. An ideal combination of modern and old can be seen in the kitchen and in the furnishings, and is the place where you can savor past and modern tastes in a subtle and tangible fusion. The structure consists of an interior hall with 50 seats and an enchanting 70-seat terrace, nestled in the frame of the Monte Rosa mountain range, overlooking Alagna and Valsesia.
At the Baita, under the watchful eye of Tagliaferro, Parrot and Cimalegna, where beer and local wines can be drunk and your culinary choices range from polenta and sausage to the Chef's finest dishes.
The word Quality reigns and the Baita is the leader of a small short supply chain which is our strength and why our customers choose to spend their time with us.
The Alpe Seewji Baita is synonymous with mountain, good food with a friendly and family-like atmosphere!
