I <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">was i<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">nitiated to the mountain through hunting, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">but<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> immediately abandoned it as I instinctively chased <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">after <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">the icy peaks rather than the footprints of wild animals. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Being the naturally <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">curious <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">person that I am<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, I <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">s<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">pecialized <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">in <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">stud<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">ying<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">everything about <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">the natural environment <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">at <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">university but... having fortunately understood that it is impossible to steal the secrets of Nature, I <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">have <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">tr<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">ied<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> to observe it firsthand in every place, aspect and moment <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">through being<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> a mountain guide since 2011... <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">and succeeding in being <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">amazed like a child <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">every single moment<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Fascinated by the fact that the guides <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">of days gone by<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> were artisans (and shepherds), I professionally try to follow their <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">example<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> when I have to rest my legs after the long climbs. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">I am d<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">eeply attached to my origins, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">so it is only natural that <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">I love history, ancient books and ... milking cow<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">s<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">... s<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">pecifically the pezzata rossa breed <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">from Oropa.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was born and raised in the Biella Alps, in the shadow of Monte Rosa, the \"Queen of the Alps\".
