Clearly visible even from the valley floor, it imposes itself on the sight of anyone who looks towards the peaks. <strong>It is the highest refuge in Europe<\/strong>, it host an important physical-meteorological observatory and is dedicated to Queen Margaret of Savoy who stayed there in 1893, the year of the inauguration.
