This complex is a precious testament to the history of gold extraction on Monte Rosa, one of the most important in the Western Alps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The underground route through the feldspar tunnels<\/strong>, a true \"Journey to the Heart of Monte Rosa.\" Here, among minerals, machines, and memories, visitors can discover how humans have shaped these mountains for centuries, weaving together geology, industrial archaeology, and Alpine culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Museum of the San Lorenzo Factory<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The San Lorenzo Factory, <strong>an ancient production complex that has been recovered and enhanced<\/strong>, houses a museum that tells the story of the Kreas mining site. Through images, objects, original tools, and multimedia installations, the exhibition guides visitors in discovering the techniques of extraction and processing of minerals such as gold, silver, copper, manganese, and iron. The museum does more than just display artifacts: <strong>it offers a dialogue between past and present<\/strong>, with a narrative that combines the voices of miners with the experiences of those who explore this world today. The route begins in the <strong>18th-century \"Santo Spirito\" tunnel <\/strong>and ascends to the industrial tunnels used for kaolin extraction, offering a narrative journey through the geological and human history of the mountain. <strong>Seven themed stations enrich the experience<\/strong>, making it engaging and suitable for everyone, from families to geology enthusiasts.
