Visit the Angelo Mosso Institute Museum, Science at High Altitude
We guide you on an easy path through the suggestive natural setting of Passo dei Salati to the historic research institute, founded in 1907, still active, and with a recently renovated museum exhibition.
You will only need to cover a few meters of elevation to learn about the challenge of conducting research at an altitude of 2,901 meters.
Difficulty: Easy - Suitable for all the family Duration: Short - 20 minutes on foot, with an elevation gain of about 80 meters

11:00 AM: Parade through the central streets of Alagna, with a tribute to the Fallen.

On September 12th and 13th, a fishing competition organized by the Valsesiana Sport Fishermen's Society will be held on the Sesia River. The first day the competition will start at 7 am at the restaurant Lo Chalet, and it will be divided in two tests. The second day there will be the third test and the awards cerimony.

The "frazionissima" race is open to athletes aged 16 and over who hold a valid medical certificate for competitive sports; the event will take place regardless of weather conditions. The organizers accept no liability for accidents involving persons or property before, during or after the event. By registering, participants fully accept these rules.

Programma della giornata:
Ore 10.00 ritrovo al Museo Walser di Pedemontе per un momento di ricordo e condivisione.
Ore 11.00 Santa Messa all’oratorio di San Nicolao accompagnata dai canti del Gruppo Folkloristico di Alagna.
A seguire danze tradizionali a cura del gruppo folkloristico di Alagna.
Rinfresco finale al ristorante Montagna di Luce per concludere insieme la festa!
Dalle ore 14:30, in occasione di questo cinquantesimo, per visitare il museo ci sarà una guida disponibile ad accompagnarvi e raccontarvi la casa walser e la popolazione. Ingresso: €10 a persona.

Followed by traditional dances performed by the Gruppo Folkloristico di Alagna.
Closing refreshments at the Montagna di Luce restaurant to wrap up the celebration together!
From 2:30 PM, to mark this 50th anniversary, a guide will be available to accompany you on a tour of the museum and share the story of the Walser house and its people. Admission: €10 per person.
