We guide you on an easy path through the suggestive natural setting of Passo dei Salati to the historic research institute, founded in 1907, still active, and with a recently renovated museum exhibition.
You will only need to cover a few meters of elevation to learn about the challenge of conducting research at an altitude of 2,901 meters.
Difficulty: Easy - Suitable for all the family Duration: Short - 20 minutes on foot, with an elevation gain of about 80 meters

Ore 9.00 – Ritrovo presso la biglietteria degli impianti di Alagna Monterosa Ski
Ore 9.15 – Salita in funivia fino a Punta Indren
Ore 9.45 – Ritrovo al Passo dei Salati per chi sale da Gressoney (Staffal)
Ore 10.00 – 12.00 – Escursione nei pressi del Ghiacciaio di Indren con approfondimenti e curiosità sul mondo glaciale. Attività svolta in prossimità della stazione di arrivo della funivia di Indren; non è prevista la percorrenza del ghiacciaio.
Ore 12.30 – Discesa con gli impianti verso Alagna
Durata: circa 2,5 ore
Abbigliamento consigliato: scarponi da montagna, giacca a vento e occhiali da sole.

We guide you on an easy path through the suggestive natural setting of Passo dei Salati to the historic research institute, founded in 1907, still active, and with a recently renovated museum exhibition.
You will only need to cover a few meters of elevation to learn about the challenge of conducting research at an altitude of 2,901 meters.
Difficulty: Easy - Suitable for all the family Duration: Short - 20 minutes on foot, with an elevation gain of about 80 meters

Il 29 agosto si terrà la Alagna Otro Trail, il ritrovo è previsto per le 7.30 il piazza Grober, con ritiro dei pacchi gara e ultime iscrizioni. Alagna Otro Trail Race
On August 29th, the Alagna Otro Trail will take place. The meeting point is at 7:30 AM in Piazza Grober, where race packs can be collected and last-minute registrations will be accepted. The race starts at 9:00 AM, and at 1:00 PM, a lunch (included in the registration) will be served at Rifugio Zar Senni in the Follu hamlet.
Registration fees for the Alagna Otro Trail are €35 on race day and €30 online via the event website. For the recreational fun walk, the fee is €25 on race day, while children up to 12 years old pay €10. Click here to buy the tickets.
