Alagna Valsesia is undoubtedly one of the municipalities within the Park that attracts the highest flow of tourists and hikers. For this reason, at Alpe Fum Bitz, at approximately 1600 meters above sea level, the Park Authority's Casa del Parco hosts an interesting exhibition on ecosystem services and ecological networks along a gradient from mountain to alpine environments, with a focus on the fauna that characterizes them.
The location of this facility is undoubtedly strategic, as it is reachable with just a few minutes of walking in a panoramic and naturally interesting environment at the foot of the glaciers on the south face of Monte Rosa. Adjacent to the Casa del Parco is a Botanical Garden where the main plant species characteristic of the protected area have found their rightful place.
