This popular and historic mountain pasture at 2188 m. spreads over a grassy plain refined by two surrounding lakes, making it one of the most enjoyable destinations in the Valley Vogna. Here a fountain provides fresh water at a constant temperature of 3 ° C. The name Maccagno is closely linked to the production of a delicious cheese that bears the same name.
