You can contact the Continuity of Care Service when immediate but non-emergency medical assistance is needed – in cases where the condition cannot wait until the following day to be addressed by your regular doctor.

The Continuity of Care Doctor may:

• provide medical advice over the phone;
• invite the patient to the medical center for in-office evaluation;
• carry out a home visit, if the patient’s clinical condition requires it;
• refer the patient to more suitable facilities and/or activate the Emergency Medical Service if home care is not appropriate.

This service is free of charge for all residents or individuals domiciled within the ASL Vercelli area.

For non-residents or those not assisted by ASLVC General Practitioners, the following fees apply:

• Office medical visit: €20.00
• Home medical visit: €35.00

(Payment via notice issued after the consultation.)

• Scopello: 08:30-14:00 or 09:00-14:00 (varies by day)
• Alagna: 14:30-19:00 or 14:30-20:00 (varies by day)
• Dates: August 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 19, 20, 24, 25, 31; September 1.

Holidays and Pre-Holidays (Festivi e Prefestivi):

• Alagna only: 09:00-19:00
• Dates: August 1, 8, 14, 15, 16, 22, 23.

Scopello: 24/7 active service on holidays and pre-holidays.

• Centro Medico di Alagna: Piazza Ing. Giorgio Rolandi
• Ambulatorio di Scopello: Via Mera, 3 (near Municipio)

Access: Call 116117 before visiting (ambulatory or home). Rates: Free for ASL VC residents; €20 for ambulatory visits, €35 for home visits for non-residents.
