Trip programme ski mountaineering Castore ridge

With the Monterosaski lifts we reach the Bettaforca hill with the first run, to go up to the Quintino Sella Refuge in about 3 hours. The route includes a stretch of about 30 minutes to be tackled with skis on the aided ridge. Short stop in the refuge and set off towards the Felik pass at 4,100 m. which can be reached in about an hour and a half. At the pass, if the snow conditions are good, we continue to Punta Fillak and from here, leaving skis and skins and wearing crampons, we reach the summit of Castore in about 20 minutes, along the south-eastern ridge. The descent is fantastic!
