Fum Diss: the farmhouse in Alagna where Walser tradition meets genuine flavor
The story of Fum Diss began in 1973, when Augusto and Caterina opened a traditional trattoria in Alagna Valsesia, serving typical Walser cuisine made with food they personally cultivated and raised.
Over the years, the business was passed down to their children Franca, Jucci, and Osvaldo, and today it is run by Francesco and Cristoforo, Jucci’s sons, who have transformed Fum Diss into a true farmhouse.
Fum Diss has a clear mission: to offer farm-to-table cuisine, with over 80% of ingredients sourced locally, while preserving the authentic spirit and deep respect for Walser tradition.
